In a few days, a presidential election will occur in the U.S. with implications felt globally. Students are invited to join a discussion led by Francine D’Amico, Ph.D., director of undergraduate studies in international relations. This panel will explore the connections between policies, uprisings, unrest, protest, and resistance in the U.S. and the ways in which these moments create ripple effects globally. Additionally, how does the rest of the world impact the U.S.? Panelists will draw from their personal and professional experiences to spark discussions on the interconnectedness of the aforementioned themes and how they play out on the group throughout the world.

Sponsored by the Student Activism Engagement Team, Cultural Centers, Office of Diversity and Inclusion and campus partners.
