George Bent, the Sidney Gause Childress Professor in the Arts at Washington & Lee University will deliver a Zoom lecture on “Florence as it Was: Digital Art History in a COVID World.” Professor Bent will discuss his ongoing digital project to reconstruct Florence as it appeared at the end of the fifteenth century. This lecture is sponsored by SU’s Department of History and the Medieval-Renaissance Program, which is led by A&S’ Professor Sally Cornelison from the Department of Art & Music Histories.
