Dissertation Defense – Shahnewaz Emtiaz

You are invited to attend and participate in the oral doctoral examination of Shahnewaz Emtiaz, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, which will be held on Wednesday, September 30, at 10 a.m. in Zoom.

Emtiaz’s advisor is Professor Gianfranco Vidali. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Jennifer L Ross, Mitchell Soderberg, Jiao He and Britton Plourde. Professor Catherine A Cornwell will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Spectroscopic Study of Ices of Astrophysical Interest.”
