About Isreal Hagan
Isreal Hagan seems to have been immersed in music from birth. His singing career started in third grade. He picked up his first guitar at age nine, followed soon after by the bass. By age 14, Isreal had started his songwriting career and he hasn’t stopped since.
This nine-time SAMMY Award Winner and Hall of Famer is an outspoken defender of local music who has performed as special guest with the legendary Carlos Santana, among many others.
He is the lead singer of long time regional favorite RnB band “Stroke,” and performs solo as “Isreal Hagan Soul-O,” as well as appearing as feature vocalist with the Maria DeSantis Orchestra.
With a four-octave range and many recordings to his credit, Isreal has performed on festival, club, and coffeehouse stages across the Northeast.
