AAPI Heritage Month: Mr. ASIA 2021

Mr. ASIA is a male pageant that focuses on the current issues revolving around Asian Americans at Syracuse University. Mr. ASIA aims to tackle the stigmas placed upon Asian males and issues behind masculinity. Due to COVID-19, Mr. ASIA will allow voting for the pageant to be done asynchronously online, followed by performances, the reveal of Mr. ASIA and a discussion with a headliner TBA synchronously via Zoom. Enjoy entertaining performances by Registered Student Organizations and guest artists.

Asian Students In America (ASIA) is a culturally diverse organization established to bring together and represent the Asian American student body at Syracuse University. Since its inception in 1979, ASIA has been a powerful force in representing the Asian American student body on campus. We feel strongly about uniting local communities through interactions by offering activities and opportunities that are intended to bridge gaps between different communities. Our goals are to experience, examine and increase awareness of the Asian American identity by hosting social, educational, cultural and community service events.
