The oral doctoral examination of Carolyn Garland, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, which will be held on Monday, April 19, at 4 p.m. in Zoom.
Garland’s advisors are Professor Kristopher McDaniel and Hille Paakkunainen. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Ben Bradley, Carrie Jenkins and Ned Markosian. Professor Yvonne Smith will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Exploring the Metaphysics of Grief.”
