Dissertation Defense – Xinlei Huang

The oral doctoral examination of Xinlei Huang, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Wednesday, April 21, at 10 a.m. in Zoom.

Huang’s advisor is Professor Jesse Q. Bond. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Ashok Sangani, Ian Hosein, Lawrence Tavlarides and Viktor Cybulskis. Professor Arindam Chakraborty will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “An examination of γ-valerolactone ring opening and decarboxylation in mutiphase system and over various solid acid catalysts.”
