Registration is now open for Syracuse Skating School’s Summer Session at Tennity Ice Skating Pavilion. All classes are Tuesday evenings starting May 25, 2021. Lessons are available for all skill levels.
Ice skating is a great way to stay physically fit and have fun! We offer lessons for all skill levels and abilities. Basic level classes are 30 minutes. Freestyle/advanced figure skating classes are 45 minutes. Whatever your skating goal, our coaches can help you achieve it. Rental skates are included.
You’re never too old to strap on the pads, lace up the skates, and learn how to play hockey! Classes are geared toward novice and intermediate players, but players of all levels are welcome to participate. Our sessions focus on skating/edge work, basic hockey skills, small area games, and just having fun on the ice. Full hockey pads including a helmet with a full face shield or cage are required. Helmets and skates are available for use. Other padding must be supplied by the participant. If you are a novice skater but would like to participate in the hockey class, we highly recommend enrolling in our ice skating lessons to supplement your hockey experience.
Sled hockey is an adaptive form of hockey and is a great way to stay physically fit and have fun! We offer lessons for all skill levels and abilities. Participants with and without disabilities are welcome to enroll. All sled hockey classes are 45 minutes and include free use of sled, sticks, and helmets. Gloves and elbow pads are recommended but are not provided. Other padding is optional.
