Dissertation Defense: Bhaskar Joshi

The oral doctoral examination of Bhaskar Joshi, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, which will be held on Thursday, August 12, at 2 p.m.  Zoom.

Joshi’s advisor is Professor John Chisholm. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Michael Sponsler, Nancy Totah, Mathew Maye and Rachel Steinhardt. Professor James Hewett will serve as chair of the defense.  The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Formation of Pyrroloindolines and Alkylation of N-Heterocycles with Trichloroacetimidates AND Synthesis of Quinoline Based Small Molecule Inhibitors of Ghrelin O-Acetyltransferase (GOAT).”
