The oral doctoral examination of Ruma Sinha, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, which will be held on Tuesday, August 17, at 12 p.m. in Zoom.
Sinha’s advisor is Professor Crystal Bartolovich. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Chandra Talpade Mohanty, Manan Desai, Carol W.N. Fadda and Himika Bhattacharya. Professor Tula Goenka will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Dalit Women, Anti-Caste Aesthetics, and the Politics Of Representation”
