The oral doctoral examination of Ashley “Aley” O’Mara, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Thursday, August 19, at 2 p.m. in zoom.
Ashley “Aley” O’Mara’s advisor is Professor Dympna Callaghan. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Stephanie Shirilan, Scott Manning Stevens, Crystal Bartolovich, Patricia Roylance, and Liza Blake. Professor Amanda Eubanks Winkler will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “”Man delights not me; no, nor woman neither”: Asexuality in Early-Modern Literature.
