Dissertation Defense: Shana Gelin

The oral doctoral examination of Shana Gelin, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Monday, December 13, at 1 p.m. in Zoom.

Gelin’s advisor is Professor Derek X. Seward. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Melissa M. Luke, Gwendolyn D. Pough, Dalia Rodriguez and Kal Alston. Professor Cecilia A. Green will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “An Exploration of Self-Identity Experiences within the Lives of Afro-Caribbean Women Undergraduate College Students: A Feminist Phenomenological Study.”
