Dissertation Defense: Michael Britton

The oral doctoral examination of Michael Britton, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. in Zoom.

Britton’s advisor is Professor Christopher Kyle. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Vanessa Harding, Jason Peacey, Junko Takeda and Alan Allport. Professor Eric Schiff will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Policy and Polity: Space, Boundaries, and Governance in Early Modern London, 1580-1640.”
