The Disability Cultural Center celebrates disability as a part of diversity. We do not look at disability as being a bad thing, but as a cultural identity. There is a global disability community of amazing people that you are a part of as a disabled person. Disabled people have a shared culture and history. The DCC Student Affinity Group is a place for students to come together and learn about disability culture, disability pride, and what we do at the Cultural Center. You do not have to be disabled to be in the group! We welcome everyone. The Affinity Group is a place to discuss anything you want around disability and its many intersections! Our Coordinator, Kate, is Deaf and communicates in sign language, and we can talk about that, too. Hope you will join us!
