Faculty can participate in an open discussion and panel on stress-aware and trauma-informed teaching on Feb. 11 at 10 a.m. Faculty will be able to take away from the presentation and discussion:
- being able to articulate a sound (evidence-based) definition of stress and trauma;
- being able, within reason, to differentiate between stress and true traumatic reaction; and
- having identified one activity, assignment or assessment that they can modify to account for student stress and/or trauma.
