Soles 4 Souls with Alpha Kappa Alpha

The Illustrious Iota Upsilon chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha will be fundraising money for Soles 4 Souls.

1.5 MILLION STUDENTS IN THE U.S. EXPERIENCE HOMELESSNESS! Every kid deserves to have their basic needs met. From a roof over their heads, food on the table, and a pair of shoes on their feet. No child should have to feel embarrassed, discouraged or left out simply because they lack something most of us take for granted. A child who has lost their home should not lose their ability to be a kid. A pair of shoes can let a child’s feet do what they do best-dancing, skipping, playing. Your donation can provide new shoes for a student experiencing homelessness. It is up to all of us to provide our community members with the basic needs they deserve.
