Spoken Word Poetry Institute – Writer’s Workshop

This event is part of the Racial Equity Academic Symposium which is presented by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the Division of Faculty Affairs in the Office of Academic Affairs:

Led by poet Keisha-Gaye Anderson ’96, this workshop teaches effective ways to approach writing and performance on stage. The institute helps students deepen their scholarship and practice as spoken word artists and will engage participants in discussion on best practices for raising awareness of social issues using spoken word poetry.
