Writing Center director Ben Erwin will explore the purpose, structure, conventions, and expectations of the literature review while offering pragmatic advice for writing and revising this genre of text. Whether you’re writing the literature review dissertation chapter, a brief overview for an article, or a truncated research description for a proposal, this session aims to answer common questions and provide strategies for successfully navigating this complex, sometimes confusing, genre. The program is aligned with the Graduate School’s Dissertation Boot Camp, but open to everyone.
