To celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day we are offering a virtual opportunity for students to come together to discuss what service opportunities they were able to complete to give back to the community. Instead of taking the day off, we want to engage in discuss about how they are positively impacting the community through service.
Prior to the event we encourage you to review ideas of ways to get involved on the MLK Day of Service website. After your service, please make sure to complete the Qualtrics Form to share your impact! Please note: Registration is not required to participate and serve!
Want to join the community of changemakers? Post a photo of your service on social media using #DayOnSU and tag @hendrickschapel! Your post can motivate others to serve their community.
This program is part of a special virtual series that will commemorate the cultural, social and artistic impact of the civil rights movement leading up to the 36th annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021 at 7 p.m. ET. Registration is free and open to all. Zoom links will be sent in your confirmation email. Register today!
