Syracuse University’s Office of Research has announced the request for proposals for the 2021 Collaboration for Unprecedented Success and Excellence (CUSE) Grant Program. In support of humanities research across campus and to best prepare humanities faculty to apply to the 2021 CUSE Grant Program, the Syracuse University Office of Research and Humanities Center will jointly offer an information session on the 2021 CUSE Grant program, including tips and techniques for successful applications in the humanities.
Following a brief presentation by the Office of Research, a panel of previous CUSE grant awardees in the humanities will share their experiences developing successful CUSE proposals and respond to questions. This panel of experts features:
Krista Kennedy, Associate Professor, Writing Studies, Rhetoric, and Composition, College of Arts & Sciences
Tessa Murphy, Assistant Professor, History, Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs
Romita Ray, Associate Professor, Art and Music Histories, College of Arts & Sciences
The purpose of this intramural grant program is to enhance interdisciplinary collaborations, to grow the research enterprise and enhance scholarship at Syracuse University in order to increase extramural funding and high-quality scholarly output.
