Dissertation Defense: Tianyun Zhang

The oral doctoral examination of Tianyun Zhang, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Wednesday, July 7, at 11 a.m. in Zoom.

Zhang’s advisor is Professor Makan Fardad. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Qinru Qiu, Reza Zafarani, M. Cenk Gursoy and Yanzhi Wang. Professor Lixin Shen will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Mathematical Optimization Algorithms for Model Compression and Adversarial Learning on Deep Neural Networks.”
