Dissertation Defense: Mayara Ribeiro

The oral doctoral examination of Mayara Ribeiro, candidate for the PhD degree  will be held on Thursday, July 8, at 10  a.m. in the Life Sciences Complex, room 106.

Ribeiro’s advisor is Professor Jessica MacDonald. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors James Hewett, Sarah Hall, Eric Olson and Carlos Castaneda. Professor Natalie Russo will serve as chair of the defense.  The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Vitamin D modulates Rett syndrome phenotypes and underlying cellular pathways in an Mecp2-mutant mouse model.”
