Dissertation Defense: Terese Gagnon

The oral doctoral examination of Terese Gagnon, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, which will be held on Thursday, July 8,  at 11:00 a.m. in Zoom.

Gagnon’s advisor is Professor Azra Hromadžić. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Ann Gold, Mona Bahn, Shannon Novak and Christina Fink. Professor Anne Bellows will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Seeding Sovereignty: Sensory Politics and Biodiversity in the Karen Diaspora.”
