The oral doctoral examination of Tongyin Zheng, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will  be held on Thursday, June 3, at 9 a.m. to 12p.m. in Zoom.

Zheng’s advisor is Professor Carlos Castaneda. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Alaji Bah, Arindam Chakraborty, Davoud Mozhdehi and James Hougland. Professor Roy Welch will serve as chair of the defense.  The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Characterizing multivalent Interactions Between Folded Protein Domains and Intrinsically Disordered regions or Peptide Substrates.”
