Co-founded by chemical engineering alumnus, Kwaku Jyamfi ’18, Farm to Flame Energy is working to meet the world’s energy demands while simultaneously reducing waste. In this virtual session, Kwaku and mechanical and aerospace engineering Professor Ben Akih Kumgeh will discuss how the company began as a project developed by undergraduate students and how it has continued to grow beyond Syracuse University’s campus. Farm to Flame Energy seeks to provide a renewable, cost-effective, sustainable and secure solution using a proprietary combustion process to convert biowaste into electricity.
