Plug and play is a term used to describe self-contained gaming systems intended for use with a television. They differ from higher-end consoles such as the Playstation or Nintendo’s Switch in that their software is typically pre-installed and price point low.  This exhibit explores early dedicated pong consoles through modern-day portable bootlegs, with over twenty examples on view.

Curated by Stephen Singer.
