How to decode the nutrition facts label
Not everything in life comes with a manual, but your food does! Nutrition facts labels are designed to help us make decisions when it comes to the foods we eat, but the numbers, percentages and information staring back at you can be confusing. The secret to reading a food label is knowing what to look for. If you understand the label lingo, it’s easier to make the healthiest food choices.
Join Gail Grozalis for this interactive workshop to learn how to make sense of nutrition facts labels and why nutrition facts matter. Be sure to grab an item from your refrigerator or pantry to use during the workshop.
