The purpose of ANAD Week is to raise awareness and funds for the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD), one of our organization’s philanthropies. We hope to encourage body positivity, self-love, and mental health awareness on the Syracuse campus through our events during the week as well as educate others on ANAD as an organization. Even though the topic of eating disorders and related issues may be difficult, we as a chapter wish to use ANAD Week as a way to encourage conversation about them so that others may become more knowledgeable and aware.
