The oral doctoral examination of Adrienne Atterberry, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Thursday, May 6, at 1 p.m. in Zoom.
Atterberry’s advisor is Professor Prema Kurien. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Cecilia Green, Amy Lutz, Yingyi Ma and Susan S. Wadley. Professor Mona Bhan will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Cultivating a New Transnational Elite: Parenting, Schooling, and Belonging in the Age of Global IT.”
