The great Italian poet Dante Alighieri passed away in Ravenna on 1321, and we continue to read his works today. Celebrate 700 years of Dante’s legacy with the Syracuse University community on May 7 at 1pm at our Dante Fair and Art Contest. Readings of the Divine Comedy will be performed in Italian, English and many other languages, and winners of the Dante Art Contest (exhibited in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Linguistics, 340 H.B. Crouse, from May 3-14) will be announced. Vote for your favorite art project by scanning a QR code at the exhibit.
