The oral doctoral examination of Brian Hennigan, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Wednesday, May 19, at 10 a.m. in Zoom.

Hennigan’s advisor is Professor Don Mitchell. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Matt Huber, Gretchen Purser, Jamie Winders and Tod Rutherford. Professor Jeffrey Gonda will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “The poverty of simplicity: austerity, alienation, and tiny houses.”
