The oral doctoral examination of Dezarie Moskal, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Wednesday, May 19, at 12 p.m. in Zoom.
Moskal’s advisor is Professor Stephen A. Maisto. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Jennifer Funderburk, Aesoon Park, Sarah E. Woolf-King and Jillian R. Scheer. Professor Dessa Bergen-Cico will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Acceptance Versus Distraction as Coping Strategies for Acute Pain and Pain-Induced Alcohol Urge and Approach Inclinations.
