The oral doctoral examination of Emily Bukowski, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, May 21 at 2 p.m. in Zoom.

Bukowski’s advisor is Professor Jacob Bendix. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Robert Wilson, Jane Read, Anne Mosher and Josh Cousins. Professor Christa Kelleher will serve as chair of the defense.  The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Beetles or Bureaucrats? Reconsidering the United States’ Failure To Stop Dutch Elm Disease.”
