SU Goes Purple Decorating Contest

Join the Barnes Center at The Arch for a decorating contest in support of Domestic and Dating Violence Awareness Month. Please register by Monday, Oct. 18.

All University offices and departments are encouraged to participate by decorating their spaces purple, the official color of domestic and relationship violence awareness, to help raise awareness and show support for survivors and those impacted by interpersonal violence.

If you wish to include statistics in your decorations, please only use information from reputable sources, like the University Sexual and Relationship Violence websiteRAINNVera House Inc. and the CDC. It is important to share accurate and current information while raising awareness.

If you do wish to participate, please send photos of your decorated space and/or staff/faculty members dressed in purple throughout the week for our @BeWellSU social media channels. Submissions with your office/department name can be emailed to bewellsu@submit.media. You can also tag @BeWellSU on social media.
