Dissertation Defense: Seongryeol Kim

The oral doctoral examination of Seongryeol Kim, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, October 8, at 9 a.m. in Zoom.

Kim’s advisor is Professor George L Kallander. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Renee de Nevers, Dimitar D Gueorguiev, Frederick F Carriere and Yong Pyo Hong. Professor Elizabeth Cohen will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “North Korea’s Policy Toward the United States: Rappochement to Confrontational Diplomacy in the 1970s and the 1990s.”
