About the Workshops: This workshop series begins with three workshops that serve as an introduction to graphic design using Adobe Creative Cloud. Our Workshop Leader, Nathan Eaton, teaches undergraduate and graduate students fundamental graphic design concepts and strategies. Bringing his industry experience into the classroom, he focuses on ideation, print design, UX/UI and web design, and always with an emphasis on design theory. The focus of this workshop series is to give you a foundational level of knowledge about basic design concepts and Adobe Creative Cloud, the industry standard for graphic design software. These skills will prove to be useful both in your professional careers and to future workshops in the series, Figure Design and Poster Design.
This first workshop will focus on using Adobe Photoshop.
Attendance at all 3 workshops is highly encouraged because the content in each session builds upon previous workshops. These workshops contribute to the Graphic and Figure Design badge, which requires attendance at 4 of 5 events.
