Join Women of Italian and Syracuse Heritage in Central New York (WISH CNY), Neighbors of the Onondaga Nation (NOON) (a committee of the Syracuse Peace Council), in partnership with Light Work’s Urban Video Project for Refocus: Haudenosaunee Films to Celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

Gather at the Everson Museum of Art Plaza at 7pm. Bring your blanket, chair, warm drink, and snack as we view forty minutes of artistic films in celebration of Haudenosaunee culture. These films will be projected on the exterior wall of the building, followed by a second loop beginning around 7:40 PM.

With thanks for their ongoing work and generous film contributions to this evening, we recognize Indigenous Values Initiative, Rematriation Magazine, Resilient Indigenous Action Collective, and Skä•noñh Great Law of Peace Center.

Special thanks to the Everson Museum of Art as the host site for Refocus; and thank you to the SU Native Student Program, the SU Department of Anthropology the Onondaga Historical Association, Cuse Action Medics, and the Syracuse Peace Council for their contributions and support towards this evening.
