Newhouse School alumnus Jim Weiss ’87, founder of global health innovation company Real Chemistry, will discuss his path from student to entrepreneur to CEO. Students are invited to attend this session, hosted by associate professor Beth Egan, to learn the “ins and outs” of a successful career in the communications industry from someone who got his start at Newhouse. Egan is director of the Weiss Center for Social Commerce.
Real Chemistry is at the forefront of the COVID-19 vaccine story, representing Pfizer, Merck, Johnson & Johnson and other leading healthcare organizations. Weiss will also discuss his quest to ensure healthcare as a top priority, and his approach to addressing challenges, set-backs and barriers to achieving goals and attaining results.
The event is co-sponsored by the Newhouse School and the Weiss Center for Social Commerce.
