Dissertation Defense: Monica Ripp

You are invited to attend and participate in the oral doctoral examination of Monica Ripp, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, which will be held on Friday, October 15, at 10 am in the Physics Building rooms 202/204 & via Zoom.

Ripp’s advisor is Professor Joseph Paulsen. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Jennifer Ross, Jennifer Schwarz, Britton Plourde and Alison Patteson. Professor Teng Zhang will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Buckling Patterns and Mechanics of Thin Interfacial Films.”
