“Music and Message” — the popular weekly series from Hendricks Chapel that features musical performances and spoken reflection from diverse of religious and spiritual perspectives — is returning to campus this fall semester. These gatherings seek to nurture the soul and ignite the spirit, and we invite all students, faculty, staff and community members for another season of inspiration.
Join us for a program in partnership with the Remembrance Scholars that reflects on remembering those we have lost and what happens when memory fades. Members of the 2021 class of Syracuse University Remembrance Scholars will offer reflections commemorating the students lost in the deadly attack on Pan Am Flight 103 in 1988.
This event will be followed by a candlelight vigil on the steps of Hendricks Chapel at 6:15 p.m. to formally launch Remembrance Week.
Sundays at 4 p.m.
September 12 through November 14
In-person and on Zoom
All are welcome to join us in Hendricks Chapel! Or experience this program online through Zoom, which will open at 4 p.m. ET each Sunday with the same link.
