Full Moon Ceremony

October 20, 2021 at 6:30pm7:00pm EDT

Shaw Quadrangle

This event has already occurred. The information may no longer be valid.

This is a time when we take a pause to thank Grand Mother Moon for continuing her duties: she controls the Ocean tides, controls the cycles of Life and watches over the nighttime skies!

Please join us in this small ceremony to give our best greetings and thanks. We will send out a collective greeting and pray for all our community, families and loved ones together on the Quad! We will sing a woman’s song in honor of Grand Mother Moon, so please if you have a small hand drum or some rattles, bring them with you. Special guest Jimbo Talbot from DrumQuest will join us, in collaboration with the Outdoor Education Program.

Bring a blanket to sit on, too. If the weather is raining or too cold, we will convene in Hendricks Chapel.

Yaw^ko and we hope to see you there!
