Join us as we share resources for finding fellowship opportunities, brainstorm how to determine the right home for your project, and discuss successful writing strategies. We will examine common proposal pitfalls and explain how to make your project compelling, including drafting the first paragraph hook and writing to an audience of both generalists and specialists. By the end of the session, participants will leave with a toolkit of practical tips and strategies for writing successful fellowship proposals.
Supported by the College of Arts and Sciences, The Office of Research, and the Syracuse University Humanities Center.
Led by Sarah Workman, Assistant Director, Research Development (Humanities). Contact Sarah to request additional accommodations by October 15th.
