On October 26, 2021, at 4 pm, the College of Law is hosting a public hearing for the New York State Independent Redistricting Commission in Melanie Gray Ceremonial Courtroom at Dineen Hall. This hearing is one of a number of hearings being held around the state to facilitate public input into the redistricting process. You can read more information about the NYIRC and this process here.
These hearings are open to the community and attendees are welcome to attend and present or to attend and observe. The commission asks that all attendees sign-up on their website, which can be found below. (Please note that the “attend and present” link eventually gives attendees an option to indicate that they will attend without presenting; i.e., observers are welcome).
