College of Arts and Sciences | Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs – Class of 2020 Celebration

The College of Arts and Sciences | Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs would like to invite you to a reception that will take place during the Class of 2020 Celebration Weekend of September 17 – 19.

Commencement will be held Sunday, Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. in the Stadium. This University-wide ceremony, where Syracuse University Chancellor and President Kent Syverud will formally confer degrees, is for all undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral candidates.

Following Commencement, at 1 p.m. in the Tan Auditorium and Lobby in the beautiful NVRC Building, all Class of 2020 Undergraduate and Graduate Students and their families are invited to join both Dean Karin Ruhlandt and Dean David Van Slyke for a celebratory reception. The event will include deans’ welcome greetings, recognition of the Class of 2020, refreshments, and an opportunity to reconnect with faculty.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family back to campus as members of the Arts and Sciences | Maxwell community to celebrate your achievements during this festive celebration.

Please note:

In order to ensure easy access to the reception, please keep your wristband from Commencement and be prepared to show it at the check-in table. In accordance with University policy, masks are currently required of all students, staff, faculty and visitors (vaccinated and unvaccinated) indoors at all times unless you are eating or drinking.
