“Deep Listening for Learning” with Interfaith Youth Core
September 23, 2021 at 3:00pm – 5:00pm EDT
Hendricks Chapel, Noble Room
This event has already occurred. The information may no longer be valid.
Join Hendricks Chapel for a inspiring and informative discussion with Interfaith Youth Core! Together, we will learn to listen with the intent to understand, rather than the intent to respond.
All campus and Syracuse community members are welcome.
In this session, participants will get to explore and share how their work at Syracuse University is connected to the engagement of religious diversity. A critical part of higher education work is understanding the religious and spiritual diversity in our country, and amongst our community, today. Attendees of this deep listening session will learn about the fundamentals of interfaith engagement, discuss how racial justice is tied to that engagement, and think about how their own skills and experiences can help support this work.
