Empty Bowls is a fundraiser organized by ceramics faculty and students in the College of Visual and Performing Arts’ School of Art, Clayscapes Pottery and the Interreligious Food Consortium (IFC).
For a $20 donation, you’ll get a beautiful ceramic bowl made by Syracuse University students, faculty and community members. Hundreds to choose from! Because of health and safety concerns, we will not be serving our customary great, donated soups from local restaurants and farms – so the bowls will be truly empty! All proceeds go to benefit the IFC.
The event will be held in the parking lot of the Warehouse. Masks are required.
The IFC is an umbrella agency for more than 70 food pantries and meal sites throughout Onondaga County. It assists each of these programs with donations of food, money and program support and connects people in need of food assistance with appropriate resources. Learn more at www.ifccny.org.
