Join the Newhouse IDEA Committee for a viewing of Judy Heumann’s acclaimed documentary “Crip Camp: Disability Revolution,” which tells the transformative story of Camp Jened, a summer camp in the Catskills that inspired a group of teens with disabilities in the early 1970s to build a movement toward equality for disabled people.

The screening will be followed by a talk-back session with Stephen Kuusisto, University Professor and director of Interdisciplinary Programs and Outreach at the Burton Blatt Institute, and Diane R. Wiener, research professor and associate director of Interdisciplinary Programs and Outreach at the Burton Blatt Institute.
