The Annual Borgognoni Lecture Series welcomes Michael Steele, former Chairperson of the Republican National Committee and currently a Senior Fellow at Brown University’s Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs.

Can religious faith be compatible with public service? Should it be embraced or feared? Mr. Steele will consider these questions and reflect on his life of faith and leadership. Both a former seminarian and elected official, Steele is well positioned to explore this topic.

This lecture is sponsored by the Department of Religion in the College of Arts and Sciences, and co-sponsored by Hendricks Chapel and the State of Democracy Lecture Series coordinated by the Campbell Public Affairs Institute of the Maxwell School.
