This program features world premiere performances of prize-winning works from the first-ever Hendricks Chapel Solo Organ Composition Competition. Alex Meszler performs Ian Shaw’s, Solomon and the Gnat, and Anne Laver performs Ivan Božičević’s Rivers of Eden. Student organists will also perform new pieces by composition students Dylan Kim and Noah Sherman, and the Hendricks Chapel Choir presents “I Love All Beauteous Things,” an anthem for choir and organ composed by Judith Weir for Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday.
