Benji Wittman graduated from Syracuse University in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Industry and Master’s in Business Administration (Dual B.M./MBA ’20, G’21). A lifelong musician and entrepreneur, Benji is also passionate about teaching and team/leadership development.

Aside from his involvement in audio production and creative management endeavors, Benji has spent a considerable amount of his time teaching and coaching in both academic environments (including the Brockport Central School District, the Setnor School of Music) and in outdoor pursuits (such as the NYLT program, Scouting’s COPE initiative, High Adventure Instruction, etc.). Ultimately, Benji is in the business of empowering others; he is zealous to help prepare others to perform at their best, both in technical abilities and interpersonal skills.

Last year, Benji joined Sweetwater, the world’s leading music technology and instrument retailer, based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to do just that: empower others. Benji is now the Training Coordinator for Service where he designs, implements, and manages training and development. Since working at Sweetwater, he has trained and discussed on topics such as: Audio Fundamentals, Analog Systems, Basic Electronics, etc., as well as delivered opportunities for personal development, such as goal setting, time management, instructional design, etc. Benji has been tasked with being entrepreneurial and advancing the training landscape to best empower the team “to do the right thing.”
